Deciding the best wedding venues on Oahu is difficult, so we’ve listed almost every venue we could find, along with some additional information to help you decide which one is right for you. Many couples venturing to Oahu believe there are only tropical or beach venue options, but we are here to tell you there is far more variety than expected. Oahu is filled with golden beaches, lush tropics, romanticized horse ranches, upscale hotels and restaurants, golf clubs and botanical gardens, and even some unconventional options. We live in a state where a $20 permit could serve as a wedding location for some of the beaches. All this is to say, there is no shortage of options when it comes to visiting Hawaii and we want to make sure our couples see each of these options before deciding on a wedding venue in Hawaii!
We give our top choices for Oahu wedding venues towards the end of this article, so if you’re overwhelmed and lost just skip ahead. If you have a specific venue type in mind, and would like to view the options available, please use the links listed below.
Provided with venue: This is a “do it yourself” location and a rare find! The owner is so sweet and she will assist you in anything needed. As far as bringing vendors in, you will need to secure everything from tables and chairs to catering. Thankfully, there are restrooms close to the Oahu wedding venues area, and the property is very large with the option of having your wedding and ceremony in multiple places.
Bonus: You may get to ride the horses if you’re interested! They are available for photos at the very least.
Number of Guests: 200+
Pricing: please contact kawailoaoffice@gmail.com.
Note: Their website is disconnected, the phone number on their Facebook does not go through and their Instagram has been abandoned. We’ve reached out and will update when we hear if they are still allowing weddings at their venue!
Provided with venue: I have nothing but incredible things to say about Sunset Ranch Hawaii. The property wedding planners Jonah, Rhonda and Alia are some of the most caring people I have come across. They will help you from start to finish with anything you need. “Sunset Ranch is an exclusive 30-acre estate on the North Shore of Oahu, with breathtaking views of the entire northwest side of the island. Extremely private, the estate provides a wide variety of venues, indoor and outdoor, from a rustically elegant barn to a lush tropical garden. Clients are provided exclusive access and may use one or all six on-site venues, for the entire duration of their event. When combined with two elegant guest suites, exceptional customer service, and other property amenities, Sunset Ranch is the event venue of choice in Hawaii.”
Provided with venue: The rental prices for Kualoa ranch are surprisingly reasonable for how stunning of a location it is! The only downside is that couples will need to bring in all of their own rentals which can be difficult for the remote locations. You really are renting bare bones when selecting Kualoa as your venue but oh, how beautiful those bones are! One of the best Oahu wedding venues.
Note: Kualoa Ranch used to have a handful of site locations to choose from including the very popular Secret Island and Jumanji. Due to recent legal changes in the state of Hawaii, the only location they are now offering is Paliku Gardens which is shown below. It’s been a favorite of many couples for years so it’s the perfect option if you’re looking for a “wow” factor!
A taste of Europe on Oahu! This gorgeous venue holds a large restaurant for your reception right on the water, two stunning chapels, and beautiful architecture. There are many different package options that range from a 90 minute ceremony/photo session with all vendors included to an entire venue buy-out with a boutique selection of premium vendors. At Theel Wedding Productions we are honored to be a premium photographer at this location.
It’s not easy to find an intimate indoor space on Oahu that has a stunning aesthetic to decorate. The Hau Tree Lanai is connected to the New Otani Kaimana Beach hotel, and is a beautiful space.
Provided with venue: Two day minimum stay at the bungalows that can sleep up to 37 people. They do provide a ceremony arch as well. All other vendors will need to be secured separately.
Number of Guests: Up to 100 guests, 37 staying at the property.
Pricing: Bungalows have an average price of $2000 (changes based on the season) per day. With the two day minimum, that’s roughly $4000 for the bungalow rental plus a $2200 venue fee.
Provided with venue: The great thing about The Deck is that it was recently renovated, so the entire hotel has a fresh and new vintage spin on it. The Deck is actually a restaurant, so catering is included in packages. There is a ballroom and deck area that is completely private for weddings. It is connected to the restaurant which is open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays. They have done an excellent job at partitioning the area so that it feels secluded, even though the walkway to the restaurant remains open. Tables and Chiavari chairs are included with the space!
Bonus: The Deck is attached to Queen Kapiolani hotel so it is convenient for guests. There’s also a honeymoon suite option if you choose to stay for the night – you can stumble on up to your room afterwards!
Provided with Venue: Ceremony only. Includes a one hour ceremony on the Muliwai deck with an officiant, chairs, arbor, six inch wedding cake, champagne toast, bouquet and boutonniere, and microphones!
Price: $3500. There is another package option that includes a hotel stay, but you have to contact the hotel for details.
Provided with venue: They do have a bridal and groom suite (multiple rooms available to use that are air conditioned) but they are not the most photogenic. That being said, it is possible to have beautiful photos in these rooms but it does require a photographer very knowledgeable about flash and lighting.
Number of Guests: This is such a large property, it’s perfect for large weddings!
After finally photographing this beautiful venue, I couldn’t recommend it more. It’s such a stunning and intimate place to hold a wedding! The colors of the villa are reminiscent of Europe while the view brings you right back to Hawaii. I’ll have to do a little more research to find pricing and further information, but I highly recommend Villa Elizabeth to host weddings.
Provided with venue: They provide a wedding planner, tables and chairs (high or low), an optional picnic set up, a modest amount of florals, eating and drinking utensils and the option to add on a bell tent.
Number of Guests: Up to 20
Pricing: $3250
Hawaii Vista – Theel Wedding Productions, Oahu wedding venues
Provided with venue: The great part about Nutridge Estate is that they offer 10 hours of time. This leaves plenty of extra cushion for set up, clean up, and getting ready! No stress involved in having to rush the event.
Such a stunning venue! Below is shown the ceremony site, but the house behind it is nestled with mountains behind, which makes for 360 degrees of beautiful views. Just beyond the green there is a private beach area perfect for couples photos. Highly recommend Loulu Palm Farm Estate.
Pricing: According to Wedding Wire, their pricing begins around $1000 for ceremony only and $4000 for reception.
Provided with Venue: Tables, chairs, warming kitchen and access to electrical outlets. There are optional add-ons such as Wifi access, white pop-up tents, white wedding arch and post-event cleaning service.
Provided with Venue: Fee does not include tent rentals, flowers, photography, catering, bar, equipment rentals, transportation, valet service, music/entertainment, invitations, printing, or event coordination services. Location is the only thing included with the rental fee.
Note: I did see quite a lot of interest from people searching for this specific wedding venue. I tried reaching out to the venue and unfortunately they would not release pricing to me as they work with outside vendors and each wedding is custom priced. You will need to contact: trudy@liljestrandfoundation.org to be connected to the right people for pricing.
Provided with venue: Attached to the unbelievably gorgeous outdoor space is a full restaurant. With tables and chairs already set up, and catering on site, it creates one of the most convenient wedding venues on this list! The outdoor views are so stunning, you really won’t need to dress up this space too much to create a tropical oasis.
Bonus: During couples photos, the golf club provides golf carts for the couple and photographer to drive around the course and find unique and beautiful locations to take photos. It’s a fun memory to drive and explore!
Pricing: After trying to inquire about pricing, I haven’t heard back! Chalk it up to Covid, hopefully.
The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club – Theel Wedding Productions, Oahu wedding venues
Provided with venue: Polo field and clubhouse rental. Also included is a three stall stadium style trailer bathroom, a tent that is able to fit 100 people, parking, guest seating tables, complimentary ceremony chairs, dance floor, clubhouse with standard kitchen and a stationary bar structure accessible to guests!
Number of Guests: 600-700
Pricing: Base pricing starts at $3000 for 50 people. There are various other cleaning fees, security deposits, and extras that are not included in this base price. There is also a mid-week discount of 10% for weddings thrown on a Monday through Friday.
Provided with venue: This chapel is absolutely beautiful, and this space includes a banquet area as a reception option. The only downside is the size, and we don’t recommend filling up the space with guests if you’re looking for that open, luxurious vibe. This Oahu wedding venues is better suited to a small and intimate wedding with no dancing.
Bonus: The food is so elegant and tasty!

Ko’Olina Place of Joy – Theel Wedding Productions, Oahu wedding venues
Number of Guests: Specializes in micro weddings of 20 people or less. This number may be flexible but not if the ceremony and reception are held in the same location. And it’s such a beautiful and intimate setting for the entire wedding!
Though it’s labeled as a state park, they do offer a full ballroom area as well as outdoor ceremony space. They list all pricing, details and information on their website.
Provided with venue: The outdoor space of this venue is beautiful! As far as the ballroom goes, it is not the most picturesque. If you need a reception venue that accommodates over 300 people this is a reasonable choice. We do, however, only suggest the outdoor portion of this venue if you’re looking for a stunning space. There are two approved caterers for this venue! There is also a food and beverage minimum added to the venue fee.
Number of Guests: Up to 380 for sit down dinner in the ballroom.
Pricing: $2000 for 5 hours (includes set up and clean up). This does not include food that must be purchased through the venue.
The permit process for the Hawaii state art museum is not the easiest to obtain, but the outcome may be worth it! Inexpensive and stunning, this museum has multiple options of locations to hold an event.
Pricing: I was sent an extensive handbook explaining all of the details for this venue. Unfortunately, it is quite long. I will attempt to summarize the important points! Oahu wedding venues.
Provided with venue: From the website, it looks like just the space is included. Anyone using the venue does need liability insurance and a coordinator. A police officer is also required.
